Cork Wall Tile by Wicanders - Dekwall; is a collection of decorative wall covering made from 100% natural cork. The wall tile creates a warm cozy atmosphere by bringing a little bit of nature into your home. The organic look and feel will enhance the beauty of any room by adding dimension and a unique texture.

This Cork Wall Tile is much more than just good looks. Unlike most painted walls or wallpaper, cork is a natural thermal and acoustical insulator that offers superior comfort, noise reduction, and warmth. It's also flexible and resilient and will bounce back when bumped, unlike paint or wallpaper that might chip or crack and require repair. The surface of each panel has a protective wax finish that protects the surface from dirt and moisture making it easy to clean.

This Cork Wall Tile can be glued to almost any surface made of concrete, drywall, wood, metal, or fiberglass. Each panel is 11.875" x 23.625" x 1/8" and comes in boxes of 11 pieces or approximately 21 square feet per box.

As the name implies, Dekwall is made for walls and not floors. It's perfect for rec rooms, living rooms, kitchens, or bedrooms upstairs or downstairs. Also popular for conversion vans and RVs. It's easy to apply and can be cut with scissors or a box knife. Installs with our zero VOC adhesive WAKOL D3540. This is the only adhesive we recommend because it does not shrink like the other adhesives.

This Cork Wall Tile is a breathable and sustainable wall covering that is non-toxic and emits almost zero VOCs. It's made from the bark of the cork oak tree which renews itself every 9-10 years. The harvesting and production of this product produces a zero carbon footprint. Like all cork products, it is completely biodegradable or recyclable. Finally, and not to be forgotten, cork is also highly fire resistant due to the suberin inside each cell. It burns very slowly and does not emit toxic fumes during combustion.
