Durable, engaging, light-hued floating hardwood flooring inspired by Scandinavian interiors
The original floating hardwood floor made in Sweden by Kahrs has a 150-year track record of quality, beauty and environmental stewardship. The Kahrs Scandinavian Naturals Collection highlights Nordic light with floors in ash. Calm and in harmony with light Scandinavian interiors, this flooring is sure to make any home stand out with its subtle beauty and unsurpassed elegance. The easy, DIY, patented Woodloc interlocking system makes installation a snap, saving you time and money.
This flooring is constructed using the Kährs patented parquet multi-layer technology, with three separate layers and a total thickness of 5/8” (15 mm). Because the surface layer is 1/8” (3.5 mm) thick, it can be sanded two to three times — allowing several generations to enjoy this beautiful floor.
NOTE: This floor should NOT be Steam Mopped. Steam Mopping may damage this floor.
The Kahrs Scandinavian Naturals Collection is made to the highest standards of health which exceed both California CARB2 and European standards for toxic emissions in adhesives and finishes. All of Kahrs hardwood products use materials from sustainable sources certified either by FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or EMAS (European Eco-Management Audit Scheme) in Europe. They are all US Lacey Act compliant, and 88% of their raw materials are sourced within 200 km of the Kahrs factory.

Why We Like It
Kahrs is our favorite hardwood floor for all the right reasons. Since 1857 this company has earned its stripes by inventing the engineered floor and has continually raised the bar on environmental standards, quality, design and performance. Once you install a Kahrs floor, you'll agree that these floors are perfectly engineered, beautiful, stable and environmentally pure.
Kahrs is also our first choice for use over radiant heat because it was designed specifically for that purpose in Sweden. It doesn't gap, buckle or warp. Just to give you an idea of its stability, two of our customers with Kahrs flooring had flooded homes and, after two weeks time and lots of ventilation, it returned to its original form. These difficult experiences tell you a lot about how a floor is made and why we would not settle for anything less.
