Denver Wool Carpet

Denver is a thick handloomed carpet, with horizontal ivory ribs set between rows of tweeded cut pile. Its luscious chunky texture mixes the organic feel of natural wool with the slightly tailored geometry of its cut and loop pile structure. Colors include combinations of ivory and soft neutrals, ranging from pale beige and grey to a higher contrast ivory and chocolate grey.

Denver is part of the Riviera collection.

The Riviera collection is a trendy group of 29 different carpet designs that are full of unique patterns and textures ranging from tweed to large and mid-scale geometric as well as flowing natural looks. It offers both modern and traditional in a distinct and subtle color palette of nature-inspired hues. They are tough and hard working and will hold up well in high traffic areas, offices, hallways and rec rooms. Prices are in the mid range.

Made in India, these wool carpets are 100% wool (except for two styles that are wool and tencel) and are both woven or tufted in both hand made and machine constructions including wilton, flat weave, and hand-loomed carpets and rugs. They are generally larger than traditional 12’ wide; most are either 16’ 2 or 13’ 2” wide making them ideal for larger rooms which avoids seams.

This collection is the exact opposite of the Woolshire collection because the patterns are far more stylish and original. The construction is mostly short tight looped and not plush like the thick dense cut piles of Woolshire.

None of J Mish wool carpet and area rugs are sprayed with pesticides to protect against moths nor are they sprayed with flame retardants or stain guards, which usually contain hazardous ingredients.

Hot Tip: Do note that different brands and styles of carpets come in different widths. Have your installer measure your space to determine how much carpet you will need to order, as well as the best way to incorporate seams if your room is larger than a carpet's given width.
