Close-out DIY, sustainable engineered hardwood flooring

Kahrs Oak Calma is a 1-strip wide-plank with a natural oil matte finish. The easy, DIY, Woodloc interlocking system makes installation a snap, which saves time and money. Each plank is 72" long x 6.25" wide x .5 thick.

The Kahrs Avanti Sonata Collection is made to the highest standards of health, which exceed California CARB2 and European standards for toxic emissions in both adhesives and finishes. Latest test results show formaldehyde emissions of .008ppm. All Kahrs hardwood products use materials from sustainable sources certified either by FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or PFEC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) in Europe. They are US Lacey Act compliant, and are sourced in Eastern Europe. Kahrs hardwood flooring has one of the lowest carbon footprints of any flooring (Parson School of Design, Healthy Materials Lab 2023).

These hardwood floors are extremely stable and suitable for any room in your home and in any climate; even over radiant heated subfloors. They are constructed using the Kahrs patented parquet multi-layer technology, with three separate layers. The surface layer is apx. 1/8” (3.5mm) thick, which can be sanded two times; this feature allows several generations to enjoy this beautiful floor. The middle layer is quarter-sawn pine, and the bottom layer employs various types of spruce, pine or fir.

NOTE: This floor should NOT be Steam Mopped. Steam Mopping may damage this floor.
