Rustic, wide-plank, DIY, oak floating hardwood flooring
The Kahrs Founders Collection offers warm rich tones of white oak in a wide plank that has been oiled, heavily brushed and hand scraped for a vintage look. It has a rustic grain pattern with filled knots and cracks of various sizes that reflect the master's dedication to preserving the natural beauty and craftsmanship of wood floors. The easy DIY patented Woodloc interlocking system makes installation a snap, saving you time and money.
ALERT: This product must be oiled after installation and prior to use. After that, it must be oiled once every few years, depending upon wear and climate. As with all wood and bamboo floors, use protectors under furniture legs.
Kahrs is the original floating hardwood floor made in Sweden. It has a 150-year track record of quality, beauty and environmental stewardship, and this series pays tribute to the founding family members behind this great company. This collection is constructed using the Kahrs patented parquet multi-layer technology, with three separate layers and a total thickness of 5/8” (15 mm). The surface layer is 1/8” (3.5 mm) thick, allowing Kahrs Original floors to be sanded up to two times — thus allowing several generations to enjoy this beautiful floor.
NOTE: This floor should NOT be Steam Mopped. Steam Mopping may damage this floor.
The Kahrs Founders Collection is made to the highest standards of health, which exceed both California CARB2 and European standards for toxic emissions in adhesives and finishes. All of Kahrs hardwood products use materials from sustainable sources certified either by FSC or EMAS in Europe.
