12" Knocking Block for installing floating floors

The Kahrs Knocking Block hand block (previously known as Woodloc Hand Block) is a large plastic slab (apx. 2.5" x 2.5" x 11.75" ) that is used to knock or tap pre-finished planks together without catching your fingers or damaging the floor planks. Unlike a block of wood or other material, this installation tool slides nicely over any underlayment.

Why We Like It

This is by far the best knocking block we have ever used. It works with all click style floating floors. Most knocking blocks are small and lightweight; they simply conform to the edge of the flooring to protect the edge from damage. But they are awkward to use because they require three hands: one to hold the hammer, another to hold the knocking block, and a third hand to hold the board at an angle.
The Kahrs Knocking Block is so dense and heavy that it does the job of both knocking block and hammer in one. It is without doubt the most important tool in your flooring kit. It is also faster because you simply raise the plank with one hand and tap with the other. If more than one person is installing, buy one per person and you will finish your project significantly faster.
