Sustain 1195 Sheet & Tile Adhesive, 1-Gallon

Non-toxic, zero VOC, solvent-free, extreme moisture limiting sheet and tile adhesive

Forbo Sustain 1195 Sheet and Tile Adhesive is a water-based mastic for all Marmoleum sheet and tile flooring that is specially formulated for extreme moisture conditions. This dual acrylic polymer formulation is an adhesive and moisture limiter all in one. It can handle moisture emissions of 10 lbs per 1000 square feet and up to 95% relative humidity. FYI, the previously available adhesive, Sustain 885, handled up to 8 lbs/1000 SF at 85% relative humidity.

This adhesive naturally resists moisture and mildew all with a better initial grab and longer open time. It requires a 1/16" x 1/16" x 1/16" square notched trowel and it covers 125 square feet per gallon.

Unlike solvent-based adhesives, Forbo Sustain 1195 has zero VOC emissions and exceeds CARB2 standards as well as most other European Standards. Once dried it has virtually no odor and will not off-gas.

NOTE: This alternative adhesive must be rolled with a 100 pound roller as per Forbo instructions.

NOTE: Sustain 1195 has a very specific ranges of installation conditions: temperature and humidity should range from 75º F ± 10º F (23.9º C ± 5.5º C) with a 50% ± 10% ambient relative humidity. These conditions must be established at least seven days prior to beginning the installation, maintained during the installation, and continued for at least seven days following the installation. In the case of RV, or a tiny home on wheels, or a similar installation, you must have your work area within a climate controlled situation to maintain these parameters, like an enclosed garage, for the entire prep, installation, and post installation process as outlined above.
