Forbo Marmoleum Splash sheeting is a collection of six colors portrayed in soft greys and subtle hints of colors peeking through. This product must be glued down to a perfectly flat subfloor and comes 79" wide x any length you desire up to 96'. Professional installation is recommended. All Marmoleum floors are created from natural, renewable materials, making it the most sustainable resilient flooring available. It's natural, non-toxic, contains no phthalates, no plasticizers and will not off-gas hazardous chemicals, making them safe for everyone, even the chemically sensitive. They are also climate positive which means the overall life cycle from production, to use, to disposal produces zero carbon. Additionally, Marmoleum is SMART certified as a sustainable product.

Unlike vinyl flooring, Marmoleum is easier to clean, lasts longer, and is biodegradable. It is also made of 78% pre-consumer recycled content. Natural bactericidal and anti-static properties prevent the growth of microorganisms, reduce the risk of electric shock, and make for easy dust and damp-mop cleaning.

Marmoleum sheeting may be applied over subfloors made of plywood, concrete, Vinyl, VCT or other resilient materials as long as it meets the conditions noted in the substrate evaluation & preparation guidelines. See pdf in side bar. It is the same for ceramic tile, which may require a leveling product to fill the grout lines so it does not telegraph through. In all cases, a bond test must be conducted to make sure the adhesive can set up and cure properly.

Marmoleum 'tile' products include DIY Marmoleum Click, a floating floor, as well as 2.5 mm Marmoleum Modular and a commercial 2 mm Marmoleum Composition Tile (MCT).

NOTE: Don't forget the adhesive! For this product we recommend Forbo Sustain 1195 Sheet & Tile Adhesive.
