The Marmoleum Striato collection branches away from the classic linoleum look with a striped, tonal design that offers a modern yet playful aesthetic. Rich and natural, Striato colors are ideal for large, open spaces and can be easily paired with any color in the Marmoleum range, as well as with other material types entirely, such as wood or natural stone.
Unlike carpeting, spills will not sink in or stain. Natural bactericidal and anti-static properties prevent the growth of microorganisms, reduce the risk of electric shock, and make for easy dust and damp-mop cleaning.
All Marmoleum floors are non-toxic and will not off-gas, making them safe for everyone, even the chemically sensitive. Additionally, Marmoleum is SMART certified as a sustainable product.
Marmoleum sheeting may be applied over subfloors made of plywood, concrete, Vinyl, VCT, or other resilient materials as long as it meets the conditions noted in the substrate evaluation & preparation guidelines. See the pdf in side bar. Same for ceramic tile which also may require a leveling product to fill the grout lines so it does not telegraph through. In all cases, a bond test must be conducted to make sure the adhesive can set up and cure properly.
NOTE: Don't forget the adhesive! For this product we recommend Forbo Sustain 1195 Sheet & Tile Adhesive.
