Tesoro Woods Prime is a collection of wide-plank hardwood flooring that offers a clean, select grade of white oak that is virtually free of knots. It has a wire-brushed ultra-low matte, low maintenance urethane finish and comes in four soothing earth-tone colors. This flooring is completely safe; made with real wood, no added urea formaldehyde, and has a zero VOC finish. It's CARB II compliant and Floor Score certified.
Made of North American White Oak, the Prime flooring uses as its engineered core, plantation grown pine from Chile and Brazil. Each face is a single piece of hardwood 2mm thick which is thick enough for at least two sandings. The texture is a light wire-brushed finish with UV-cured urethane that emits no off-gassing of hazardous chemicals.
Tesoro Prime tongue and groove flooring can be nailed, glued or floated above, at or below grade and over hydronic radiant heat systems. Each plank is 7 1/2" wide x 1/2" thick x 19" to 75" long, and is engineered in a three-ply construction for stability.
Why We Like It
This very refined wide-plank product is similar to the Brushed Patina series but much cleaner with a more select grade of wood. Made with the same pure adhesives and finishes that produce a better indoor air quality even for the chemically sensitive.
