All Nature's Carpet is untreated, 100% non-toxic and manufactured with the strictest standards to assure the finest, safest products, especially for those with chemical sensitivities. There are no hazardous chemicals in the fibers or the backing; no toxic dyes, no moth protection, no biocides or fungicides, no synthetic anything — only the best natural products.
Nature's Carpet are now available as both Wall to Wall carpet and Area Rugs
- Area rugs can now be made from any Nature’s Carpet style or color.
- Any custom sized rug is possible. Keep in mind that the carpet roll widths are 12’ and 13’2” depending on style, so if a wider size of rug is requested, there would need to be a seam in the rug.
- Allow 3-4 week lead time.
- The full width of the carpet roll has to be purchased, even if the finished size of area rug is smaller.
- When ordering, always add 2" to the length so they can ensure a straight cut and perfectly square edges during the finishing process.
- Linear patterns should run the length of the carpet. (Aberdeen, Leone, Stapleford)
- Finishing options: Standard binding or Serged binding. The standard bind is a thin ribbon of material/fabric sewn around the edges to match the carpet color. For serging, actual wool yarn is used in a whip-stitch around the edges, to match the color of the carpet.
- The standard backing is jute, but a rubber backing option is also available.
Please call 800-405-0222 or email info1@greenbuildingsupply.com for area rug quotes.
NOTE ON NON-TOXIC CARPET CLEANER : We don't sell it, but are super excited about the capabilities of Host. See the pdf download Cleaning Tips for more information.
Hot Tip: Do note that different brands and styles of carpets come in different widths. Have your installer measure your space to determine how much carpet you will need to order, as well as the best way to incorporate seams if your room is larger than a carpet's given width.
