Eco-friendly, water-based wood stain
DuroStain Pro is a semi-transparent stain ideal for interior and some exterior wood surfaces. It penetrates deeply into the wood and has excellent pigmentation stability, yet it showcases the beautiful wood grain. Ideal for furniture, doors, millwork, window and door trim, etc.
Durostain is ultra low odor and ultra low VOC emissions. It contains no biocides or fungicides. It works best on vertical surfaces where water is not standing.
DuroStain Pro may be used without any topical sealers but only in areas where there is no abrasion or moisture resistance required. Otherwise it requires a topical sealer. When used indoors it can be coated with any of the following clear coatings: AFM Acrylacq or AFM Polyureseal BP for maximum longevity.
For outdoor use on vertical surfaces we recommend either AFM WaterShield or AFM Polyureseal EXT.
Freshly sanded wood will absorb all water-based stains very quickly. To avoid lap marks, we recommend lightly misting or wiping the floor first with water so that the stain absorbs more slowly and evenly.

NOTE: This is a newly improved stain that covers better and lasts longer than the previous versions.
IMPORTANT NOTE: It soaks into freshly sanded wood flooring very quickly and can dry within minutes. In order to maintain a wet edge, we recommend misting the surface of the floor prior to application. Never add solvents. Always test first with a small sample in an inconspicuous area.
