Ecos interior Wall paint is an award-winning, high-performance, non-toxic, and zero VOC paint that's safe for everyone. It's a unique and sustainable architectural coating made with no solvents, hazardous chemicals or hazardous pigments. It produces a highly scrubbable surface in matte, eggshell or semi-gloss, and it contains no biocides or fungicides. Use matte for walls and ceiling, and eggshell or semi-gloss for kitchens and bathrooms. Made in USA.
NOTE: Gloss and Semi-Gloss Sheens can be used on Interior & Exterior applications. Eggshell and Matte sheens are for Interior spaces only.
Like all premium quality paints, Ecos Interior Wall paint is thick and rich, and it hides very well. It applies with either brush, roller, or spray, leaving a beautiful smooth, even finish. One thing that makes Ecos unique is its coverage; one gallon covers 480-560 SF per coat which is 1.5 times the average paint. It can be applied over properly prepared interior walls of plaster, wallboard, and masonry. It's ideal for residential and commercial settings where superior quality and durability are desired.
Aside from coverage, Ecos colors are unequaled in brilliance because they use rich pigments from Europe. Ecos also makes a variety of specialty paints for flooring, ceilings, trim and furniture, radiators, EMR (electromagnetic radiation) shielding, and air purification.
TIP: Box your paint.
Boxing paint means combining all the paint of one color into a larger container BEFORE painting. This blends any inconsistencies in color, especially on large surfaces where the slightest variation from one can to another could be visible. If you think you may not have enough paint to finish one wall, don't begin until you receive more paint. Box the new gallon with the original and then finish the job.
ECOS has industry-leading test performance and accreditations:
- The first North American paint manufacturer to complete the Health Product Declaration (HPD) — an open-standard format for accurate, reliable, and transparent reporting of product contents for LEED v4 that requires third-party certification;
- The only paint manufacturer with Declare Labels showing LBC Red List Free (a transparent ingredients labeling tool developed by the Living Building Challenge for manufacturers to fully disclose all intentionally added ingredients; Red List is a collection of worst-in-class building materials);
- The only professional-grade paint certified to ASTM D-4236 (non-toxic);
- The only paint company with membership of the Juvenile Products Manufacturer’s Association (JPMA);
- The only paint company approved by the national non-profit Healthy Child Healthy World.
See righthand margin for downloadable PDFs including MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet), HPD, Declare label, CDPH (Calif Dept. Pub. Health), ASTM D6886 (VOC test results) and application instructions.
Sample sizes (2 oz) of ECOS colors are available for $9.95 including shipping. Swatch Decks are also available.
